A small plan for preschool screen time

Pick one small thing to practise: matching shapes, counting a few objects or listening for a letter sound. Sit together for the first round. If the controls take more explaining than the activity, choose something simpler.

The preschool games collection at Dad4Kids is a place to look for a short activity. Let your child choose one, then put the screen away and try the same idea with blocks, crayons or toys.

Five minutes can be enough. There's no need to finish every level before moving on.
